Welcome to our cozy 1-room apartment in Altenkirchen/Westerwald
We are pleased to offer you a simple yet functional and clean room in the basement with plenty of natural light. The apartment provides everything you need for a pleasant stay.

In our 1-room apartment, you will find a bed (1.40 m x 2.00 m) that accommodates two people. For parents with small children, we can gladly provide a travel cot upon request – just ask us!
Your own bathroom is just two steps down the hall. Additionally, you will find a practical mini-kitchen that is well-equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave, a pizza oven, a coffee pad machine, and a kettle for tea.
If you wish, we can also provide you with a coffee machine with a thermos. For your entertainment, we offer Wi-Fi, a television, and parking directly in front of the house.
Upon request, we will gladly prepare breakfast for you or provide everything you need to start your day off well. Through the main entrance, you can access your room directly; the hallway leading to your bathroom is also the access to our basement rooms, which we rarely enter during guest stays.

The apartment is located in a quiet area near the DRK nursing home.

Please note that this is a non-smoking apartment and no pets are allowed.

We live in a quiet rural area on the edge of a small town. The Westerwald is suitable for hiking or cycling (mountain biking, racing bike, e-bike trekking). We can provide recommendations for hiking and cycling tours. The cities of Cologne, Bonn, and Koblenz are easily accessible. We can recommend excursions to the Rhine and Moselle rivers. The Westerwaldsteig and the Wiedwanderweg are easily reachable. The ICE train stations in Montabaur and Siegburg can be reached in about 35 to 45 minutes. Guests can also be picked up at the train station.

The city center can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot. The train station is approximately 700 m away. About 200 m from the house is a bus stop (towards the train station). Bicycles and motorcycles can be stored in our garage.

Our guest room is located in the basement of our single-family house in Altenkirchen.

Travel arrangements

Check-in is available from 3:00 PM, while check-out should be done by 10:00 AM.
If you wish for different arrival times, we can gladly discuss this individually to meet your needs.
