Under the brand Dreiländerbahn, HLB Hessenbahn operates regional passenger rail transport in Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Rhineland-Palatinate, from which the name is derived. The line RB 96, also known as Hellertalbahn, runs hourly and thus offers an ideal starting point for a visit to the local mining museum and/or hikes on the numerous hiking trails in the region.
